22 Unfinished Missions

Fighting for those who Fought for US

Because Their Mission Isn't Over

The Mission

Empowering Veterans, Restoring Purpose
Every day, an average of 22 veterans take their own lives—a tragic reminder of the unseen battles they face after service. Many struggle with PTSD, homelessness, and the difficult transition back into civilian life. This crisis reflects a profound gap in the support and resources our veterans deserve. 22 Unfinished Missions is dedicated to closing that gap by not only providing transitional housing, but also fostering purpose and community through vocational training, homesteading education, and a renewed sense of belonging that empowers veterans to thrive beyond their service.

What we do

22 Unfinished Missions is dedicated to empowering veterans at risk of homelessness by providing transitional housing, vocational training, and homesteading education to help them rebuild their lives with dignity and purpose.

Transitional Housing

We are building a series of small villages made up of tiny houses and alternative architecture designed to blend seamlessly with the environment. With “Hobbit House”–style dwellings and a minimal carbon footprint, these communities will provide veterans with dignified, sustainable housing as they transition into civilian life.

Community and Purpose

We provide case management services to support veterans in reintegrating into civilian life while creating opportunities for them to serve others. Veterans will engage with schools, community programs, and elder care homes to teach sustainable farming and homesteading practices—building bridges of purpose, service, and community connection.

Homesteading and Agriculture

At Guardian’s Grove, our working farm, veterans will learn to tend crops, raise food sustainably, and practice self-reliance. This direct connection to the land fosters both personal growth and long-term stability.

Vocational Training

Our programs offer veterans hands-on training and career opportunities in every aspect of running a small to medium farm. From transport—through our planned trucking school—to harvesting, packaging, delivery, and community outreach, veterans will gain practical skills while contributing to California’s specialty produce industry.
